I played about a 4 hour session. Saw about 1500 hands. In that that play 23% of the hands I was dealt. In most of those hands I missed the flop. Continually, for 4 hours. I only ended up winning about 10% of the hands I played. But what do you do when the flop refuses to cooperate? I must have had AA KK, AK, AQ, JJ about 70 times. A lot of times it was on the button or late position. AA only saw 1 call, and when they guy called he ended up rivering a 4 straight on the board to win. But I just don't know how to handle days where it seems no matter what you do, nothing goes right. All this was .25/.50 Rush Poker on Full Tilt. I wasn't sure if this was to be in the bad beat section, but I wasn't really complaining, just wondering if I should just put my head down and push through or just stop for the day and see what tomorrow brings. After the 4 hours were over though, I honestly felt like I took a LAPD beating

There's nothing much really to do except not changing your play.  This is actually something I've been struggling with, on days when I keep missing the flop, I fire a continuation bet on the flop and get raised over and over... And after a while I think man this is happening too much and I try reraising them, only to be shown they DID have it, I was focusing on a pattern I thought I was seeing when really they were seperate events that just happened to just be going a certain way.  When I start trying to force the action then I REALLY start to lose.  Just keep playing the style you believe is best, if you are missing flops you cant do anything about it.

At first I thought, if I were Superman, a perfect secret identity would be "Clark Kent, Dentist," because you could save money on tooth X-rays. But then I thought, if a patient said, "How's my back tooth?" and you just looked at it with your X-ray vision and said, "Oh it's okay," then the patient would probably say, "Aren't you going to take an X-ray, stupid?" and you'd say, "Aw fuck you, get outta here," and then he probably wouldn't even pay his bill. ~ Jack Handy
