PF: Raise obviously standard.
F: Std. cont bet.
T:  Now the real decisions.......
1.) Do you bet this out against an aggressive player?
2.) Do you check/call down (turn value check)?

Hi Duck, sorry I haven't been around for a few days.

My default play would be to bet the turn versus almost anyone with a hand this vulnerable.  Your turn decision if you get raised I think depends upon the type of player you're up against.  If this particular guy raised the turn I'd call and make a decision depending on the river card.

*** TURN *** [6d 9h 4d] [6s]
COOL_DUCK - Checks
Opponent- Bets $2
COOL_DUCK - Calls $2
*** RIVER *** [6d 9h 4d 6s] [Jd]
COOL_DUCK - Checks
Opponent- Bets $2
COOL_DUCK - Calls $2
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Opponent - Shows [5d Qh] (One pair, sixes)
COOL_DUCK - Shows [2c 2s] (Two Pair, sixes and twos)

This was a tough decision, because I wanted to protect my vulnerable hand.  But this guy is real aggressive, as you can see from his stats and the solid sample size.  I was worried about a bluff raise or any other kind of semi-bluff.

If he has a draw or a good pair he could semi-bluff or call.  He's also fully capable of a bluff raise.

In the hand I elected to turn-value check him down.  My read being that this guy bets everything you check to him, and knowing that he makes plays I have to call the river as well.  So his range here on the turn is just huge.

In this situation it worked, but I think in most I'd have to bet against passive players, or average players, since they'd be to likely to check the turn and I'd lose value.

I tend to reserve the value-check for when I have a less vulnerable hand and the guy is really aggro, and I bet my small pairs.  This guy clearly fits the 'very aggro' mold and you read him perfectly, so nice hand.  Then again, if he's that aggro you might be able to get an extra bet out of him if he'll bluff-raise the turn with an equally wide range.  maybe most players are not sufficiently aggro to make this more profitable than check-calling though.

I probably don't use the value-check enough, one of the hazards of multi-tabling on auto-pilot I guess.
