I checked with LowLim before posting this, and he said it was okay to do so. This is a tournament at a forum I am a moderator for. I hope some of you guys will join us for this game. If anyone needs help or has questions feel free to leave me a personal message.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR OLDENSTUPID!

The online poker community is far too small for us not to take care of one of our own when they are in need.

One of our most passionate poker players "Oldenstupid" is currently dealing with Stage 4 terminal cancer and we at Wannatalkpoker Forum and Carbon Poker are throwing him a poker tournament party on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 1:00 PM EDT to show him we?re passionate about poker, too, and you are invited.

As you can imagine, his illness has taken its toll in all aspects of his life and we?re hoping for a great turnout to ease some of his financial burden. One of his wishes is to play in a big tourney with his forum friends while he?s well enough to participate. Our only advice is don?t be too nice to the guy because he will do his best to take you out!

Thanks Mellow. A few of us actually have sent him some money previously and one of the other mods lives about 2 hrs from him and made the drive over. He's in a very tough situation and it's the least we can do. He really does love poker, and we ever got in contact with Barry Greenstein who called him to talk poker, while filming the Heads Up Poker Challenge for NBC.
