UTG is a decent player with VP$IP 21, while SB has VP$IP of 76 definately think one of them might have the A. the

check, check, call, call on the flop followed by the bet, raise tells me at least one of them have me beat. What do you do?

PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (10 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with Ks, Kd
UTG calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, MP3 calls, 2 folds, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG calls

Flop: (9 SB) 6h, 9s, Ad (4 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, 1 fold, SB calls, UTG calls

Turn: (6 BB) 8h (3 players)
SB bets, UTG raises,

?????

Easy fold.  But the potential to take some interesting notes.

What is the sb donking the turn with?  Does he donk with high pair? ( a line I see some loose players take, they
like to lead the turn instead of raising on the flop).  Or he is donking with a made draw, or did his draw just improve and he's bluffing?  My rough guess would be something two pair ish.  If his VP$IP is that high.

I'd also be interested in what utg is limping with here.  Does he limp AJo+ utg?  His VP$IP is 21, so I'm guessing this has to be at least AQ+, or maybe mid pairs.  Depends on what he raises and his PFR %.

I think the play you need to make is pretty straightforward, you have to fold.  But some great information to pick up on.

Unless you were playing very loose ace, I don't really get their play.  The sb is clearly a bit dim,
but extremely important information in the future.  Don't give his donk bets much credit.

The utg player makes some sense to me.  Tighter players like to limp mid pairs in ep.  Depends on the table, me I'll sometimes call, raise, or even fold.  I hate playing mid pairs for 2 or 3 bits, or calling down light with a mid pair.

I don't understand his flop call.  He acts like he's on a legit draw, but in reality he's about 20 to 1 to hit.  Strange playing all around.

I don't know I have been killed with mid pairs lately.

I tend to over play 88-JJ. I don't understand the flop call either unless he put me on 1010=KK and thought he could try to take it away from me on the turn.

......... is this a succcesful strategy at LIMIT, does Your OP have to be really Nitty to be able to get away with this?

Regards David

EDIT: God, I am so rusty at LIMIT Laughing

unsure if it works, I was just trying figure out why he would make the call. He seemed like a thinking player so I am giving him the benefit of the doubt that he was trying to  be sneaky and then luck boxed into a real hand.

Either way with the action the way it was I did not see a chance of being ahead here.
