Anyone try winning the tokens of Fulltilt?  I won a token and decided to play the $28,0000 Guarantee and that did not pan out. I lasted to 298/1354 with 135 getting money. That late registrations sucks sometimes. I think I played a little to late cause I went to sleep in the middle of the tourney.  I played short stacked after that.  Does anyone have a specific tourney that they use to get the tokens?  I have a lot of Full Tilt Pokers and the times they are offering are not always convenient. I have a peoblem with the late reg option on FullTilt,  I'm one of those that will sometimes choose a tourneyat the last minute based on player count.  When they first added thgis I didnt know and I got into a tourney with 300 or so players about 10 minutes in I checked the player count and found to my shock that there were 1200 player all of a sudden.  i dont think that it is fair because people will wait till reight before the cutoff to join and skip out on the whole first level.  The tokens are a good value in my opinion though because I play for them with my Full Tilt Pokers.  Try the 300 Full Tilt Poker for the 75$ token.  It usually weeds out the Donks and has a smaller player count.

I find that a good way to win money is by playing for these tokens. People tend to play looser in satellites, and if you win more then one token to the same tournament, you automatically get that buy-in credited to your account. However, I have to agree with you on the Late Registration. Often, you can register for a tournament, and then by the time Late Registration ends, the tournament field has already basically doubled. I find this frustrating and makes it very hard to judge how many players are gonna be in your tournament.
