Looks like a simplified FTShortcuts but for PokerStars, and it looks good.  Check out the demo video, it's self-explanatory.

Could someone (Dave?) with security software just check that the download file is safe?

Looks like I might be able to use this software to play NL using a gamepad.  Sweet.

I see there's a link to a 2+2 thread, so it should be safe to use.  I'm downloading it now, I'll let you know what I think.  I've been waiting for something like this for ages, can't wait to give it a go!

Ok I'm just giving this a go now, it seems to be working just fine.  It's very quick and has none of the LAG or odd occurrences you sometimes get with home-made AHK scripts.  It also seems to be working fine with my table mod, I just told the software I was using Hyper-Simple and it seems to believe me.

The only thing that's slightly odd is that the bet-sizing in three-bet pots preflop seems a bit off.  For example if someone UTG opens for $3 and I want to three bet, it puts in $9.50.  Shouldn't this be $10.50 for a pot-sized reraise?

It will automatically buy you  in, join the table and block popups.  You can even define a hotkey to simultaneously sit you out (or in again) on all tables you have open.  I like it.

Wow I just tried this and it's amazing:

automatically buys in and dismisses pop-ups
has a "sit out all tables" function
customizable for things like "raise 4bb + 1 per limper"
you can set an automatic open and c-bet amount
separate buttons for betting half-pot, 3/4, full pot on later streets

So so much better than the auto-hotkey stuff.  I'll pay for this when it comes out of beta.

I agree, it's brilliant.  So much faster on my pc than the AHK scripts.

Verse, are you finding that pot-sized three bets are 1bb short too?  I've got the "Default Pre-flop" checked to bet 100% of the pot, but all of my three bets seem to be 1bb too small?  Still, it's not a biggie and I'll definitely be buying this.

Yes V, I'm having the same problem.  I wouldn't say it's frequent but often enough to be a bit of a pain when playing more than 8 tables.  I think it's something to do with when it tries to scrape info from a table, but at the moment it does so another table pops up and it doesn't have time to 'read' the info correctly.  If you're using XP there's something you can check to help with this if I understood him correctly in the 2+2 thread.  I also still can't get it to three bet to the size of the pot.

And last night I had some performance issues when I tried to use it with HEM, but this is probably just to do with my computer.

Me too, at one point it chugged and froze and said the .NET framework was overloaded.  At that point my HUD stopped working and I had to restart.

I dont know why it bugs me  Laughing as much as it does? .............

I mean, having just updated to a Dual_core 2.53ghz processor & 2Gb Ram, Its so fast its not funny...

e.g I use a convertor software where I put a DVD into the drive and it converts the DVD to MP4 for uploading to my Zune Media Player. before it would take about 45mins to convert a 90min- 2hr movie, whilst doing this I pretty much couldn't do anything else whilst this thing was running so I would do it late at night, and let it run whilst watching TV.

Now, it takes 20mins at MAX resolution AND I can Play 4 tables of Poker and check mail etc etc

The difference is chalk to cheese........

I just KNEW you would have to make a comment Mr Deadmoney... It's a good job your poker isn't as predictable eh?... Laughing

Btw Lowlim... $1k for a decent computer?  That's about ?700 isn't it?  If you can show me where I can buy something in a similar league as David's for that price in the UK, I'll buy it.  Everything seems to cost at least twice as much over here, don't know why.

In all seriousness, I've been running SO horribly bad over the past 3 or 4 weeks that I can barely afford a mouse-mat, never mind a new computer.  I'm surviving by grinding out 4 $650 cash bonuses at the moment, and hating the game.  If I didn't need to rebuild I'd be happy not to even look at a poker table, the way I feel at the moment.

Anyway, back to the point of this thread...

I've just managed to set up my gamepad using TN and I can now play COMPLETELY mouse free!  Sweet as a nut Smile

Here's my setup:

Two buttons front left: fold and check/call.
Two buttons front right: raise and all-in.

Button 1: puts 60% of pot into bet box
Button 2: puts 70% of pot into bet box
Button 3: puts 80% of pot into bet box
Button 4: puts 100% of pot into bet box

Button 10: sits out next hand on all tables simultaneously (or sits back in, it toggles)
Button 9: Auto post blind (or turn this off again).

Joystick on left: pushing up increments bet box by 2sb, pushing down decrements by 2sb.

Ideally I'd like to use the up/down/left/right thingy on the left hand side (not sure what it's called but it looks like a cross) rather than the joystick to increment the bet amount, but I can't work out how to do it.  Still it's a hell of a lot easier on my wrist than when using a mouse, that's for sure.

Sounds great.  My setup:

F fold
B bet 4bb + 1 per limper preflop/bet 80% of pot on flop
C call
V check
A all in
Space bar auto-post
S sit out all
H 60% pot
J 70% pot
K 80% pot
L full pot bet

I've turned on auto-buy in and I'm set.

I've switched to Tile instead of Cascade and I'm having much better results.

The only thing I'm wishing for is a button for "wait for big blind" when you join a new table.

Sounds cool V, I tried using hotkeys but didn't really get on with it.  It's interesting that you're having fewer lag problems when playing tiled, I'll give it a go.  I've been stacking (literally on each on top of the other with no overlap) and any more than 8 tables and it really slowed up.

The only thing is, if I tile them how do I know which table I'm on at any time when using the gamepad?  I think TN highlights the tables in different colours, I haven't used those yet (I turned them off when stacking).  I can tile 9 (small) tables without overlap and that's plenty enough for me really.  I'll see how I get on tonight if I get chance to play.

You have to make sure you never get mad and type at someone V.

When I was using the game pad I had at first I had things like F fold C  call etc.  But then I started typing to someone not thinking anything of it since I have a gamepad i use instead of the keyboard and was doing all kinds of crazy shit... good thing it was limit.  In the end since I had that game pad i ended up using keys like \ = fold ~= call * = raise etc.

You never did get that game pad did you V?  Man it's the best.

At first I thought, if I were Superman, a perfect secret identity would be "Clark Kent, Dentist," because you could save money on tooth X-rays. But then I thought, if a patient said, "How's my back tooth?" and you just looked at it with your X-ray vision and said, "Oh it's okay," then the patient would probably say, "Aren't you going to take an X-ray, stupid?" and you'd say, "Aw fuck you, get outta here," and then he probably wouldn't even pay his bill. ~ Jack Handy
