I haven't played much in some time and recently retruned and dropped $100 in UltimateBet via my Visa before I heard about all the scandal etc. I cashed out $250 and was going to look for a new home, but I've found that basically everyone else rejects my Visa apparently because my bank is identifying that these are 'gambling' sites and I live in the US.

So, at the moment it is either play at UltimateBet or not play unless I find another way to fund accounts. My concern is that all these sites have 3 to as many as 8 e-wallets etc available, but how do you know if you are safe handing over bank info to JoesBank or ClickCash or WeaselLipsPay or whatever?! It just seems pretty risky to me opening up your bank account that way.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I've been using ewallet and it seems to work fine for some of the sites.  The checking funding options work fine as well and there haven't been any cases of "Joes Bank" taking your money--these are multi-billion dollar sites and they wouldn't put themselves at risk that way.  Also if Joes Bank did somehow take your money I guarantee the cardroom that used them would cover your money themselves.

I personally still play at UltimateBet and they have always been good with my money.  In fact I've never had the issues that I seem to continually have with Full Tilt and PokerStars where new funding methods are slow or worse.

Its been my experience that Joes bank never has enough funds to cover my funtime withdraws.  Thats just my personal experience.  I am sure others have had no problems.

I use one of those 'MasterCard GiftCards' - $100 card where you pay an upfront user fee of around $5.  Most of the sites take them (only one that did.. but doesn't anymore that I know of is PKR).  Same with VisaGiftCard (although I've had better luck with the MasterCard ones).

Do those prepaid cc's still actually work? Ive heard some people being succesful with them still. Im thinking about using a cash transfer on fulltilt. Has anyone ever used that before?
