I went to Vegas and the only book I took was
NLHT&P (S & M). On both Saturday
and Sunday I read the section on weak-tight players. On Sunday I lost a few buyins by playing looser than I normally do.
On Monday I flopped a set at Wynn, and then headed to the Gold Coast for the lunch buffet, topped off with the choc. cake and van. ice cream.
Someone once told me the games were wild at Rio, so I stopped by. I was first on the list for $1 $3 $300 max. full ring NL, so I waited. Well, I sit down and the table is playing weak-tight! I picked up some small pots c-betting over cards. An older asian guy won a pot with a push after something like 854 flopped. He showed AKo, and the guy who checked and folded had 99!! OTB, I limped in with T9o, the flop came Q84, the $15 pot was checked to me, and I took it down against 4 ops. with a $15 bet! Here's the next hand, I'm CO, UTAC:
Dealt to CB ($370)

, three limp and I make it $10 to go.
I'm called by "the kid" ($100) in EP and a good player in MP ($350). Flop comes

Kid checks, good player bets $25,
CB smooth calls, kid folds. Pot is $85. Turn comes

Good player bets $40.
Your move?
Not too long after this hand, the table got so tight we weren't even seeing flops, so I left. I got to Bally's and they seated me quickly. Here's my 6th hand, UTAC. (Thank you Mr. Weak Tight, thank you, thank you, thank you!!)
