Dear All,

This was prompted by Mel's post. if we knew what the Op had ok......

Had a hand yesterday

RICK***: calls $6.50 and is all-in

I was happy about getting it all in on the flop, except he flips probably the worst hand for me imaginable

Qh Qd

Board: Ts 8s Qc

   equity    win    tie          pots won    pots tied
Hand 0:    30.303%     30.30%    00.00%               300            0.00   { Ks Qs }
Hand 1:    69.697%     69.70%    00.00%               690            0.00   { Qd Qh }

so assuming that we know his hand, On the flop........ how if any different are we playing this?

Regards David

This is one of those trap hands that you can't put down but usually lose when you get a lot of action.  Who else besides you would shove here?

This one's not so bad.  Compare to king high flush, flopping a baby flush, JT flops J98, TT flops J98, QJ (or Q9) flops QJT, etc, etc.

Not sure what you're asking here Dave...  If you knew for certain he had QQ then you definitely don't want to reopen the betting since he's going to put you all in as a big dog.  But you can just call the flop since you know your implied odds are excellent if you hit your flush on the turn.  Is this what you mean?
